Pennington Design Co. is a full service design firm with broad capabilities from decorating to remodels and new construction. Avoiding trends and taking cues from a range of styles gives each of our projects a personal and unique feeling. We believe in the process of layering a space and creating essential moments that don’t distract from the overall balance. Our goal is always to inspire our clients to broaden their point of view and sense of value investing in their environment.

Alice Pennington

Alice Pennington grew up in Dallas, TX, and moved to Austin after attending Southern Methodist University. Her wide-ranging experience spans all aspects of the design world - from essential positions at a multi line designer showroom to top interior firms. The knowledge gained in each of these roles flourished into continuing her passionate pursuit of helping clients evolve their tastes and truly love their homes. With consideration for the entirety of the design process, her meticulous and thoughtful approach to each phase of a project results in elegantly comfortable spaces that tell the story of the people who live in them. Alice lives in San Antonio with her husband and two small children and loves the city’s deeply rooted history and culture.

Katie Butler

A true Texas girl, Katie Butler grew up in New Braunfels before heading to Austin to attend the University of Texas. With a major in Applied Learning & Development, she had an eleven year teaching career spanning from early childhood to middle school where she honed her organizational skills and discovered a love for being a fundamental part of a team. Her natural creativity led her to take her skills into a new field, and she is excited to be with PDC and support a wide range of responsibilities for both project and office function. She lives in San Antonio with her husband and two young daughters and enjoys the wonderfully diverse, family friendly nature of the city.
